What’s on Your Mind?
Robyn has a passion for community service and helping others, which led her to run for Centennial City Council. Working in a non-partisan environment, Robyn sought collaboration with community and her colleagues to be responsive to her resident's needs. She is now running for Senate District 16 in hopes of continuing her legacy of service to Coloradans in a greater capacity.
Robyn's roots are planted deep in Iowa, a testament to her strong work ethic and humble beginnings. Robyn lives in Centennial with her husband, who serves in law enforcement, and two sons, who attend Littleton Public Schools.
Her life outside of her professional commitments is just as full and enriching. Nothing beats a robust cup of coffee to kick start her mornings followed by a run with her faithful 84-pound companion, Samson. She is her boys' biggest cheerleader at their sporting events. Robyn's life is a testament to balance, joy, and resilience, a constant source of inspiration.
Robyn knows the importance of a balanced government. Right now, there is no balance down at the State. In fact, the Colorado Senate is one seat away from becoming a superminority, which would create a supermajority - just like in the House. If we don’t win SD16, Colorado will lose the balance of power across the board.
Robyn has been part of Denver's South Metro tapestry for 20+ years. She has worked tirelessly to make it a better place and is currently serving on Centennial City Council. A run for Senate means still serving constituents - in a larger capacity.
Things are not getting any better in Colorado. Who knows where we will be in four years. From the high cost of living to housing, public safety / crime and homelessness, there is just too much at stake to not get involved. We can sit on the sidelines and complain, living in fear, or get involved. Now is the time to take a stand for what truly matters.
Senate District 16 is a multi-county district encompassing Arapahoe and Jefferson Counties in the south central Denver Metro area with 133,692 voters.
ALL Coloradans will be impacted by the Senate. Robyn has jumped into this race in a BIG way and needs an army of donors to do the same.
Will you join her?
